Hello everyone my name is Jessica and I am a stay at home mom with an obsession for crafting. I have been crafting since I was a wee one. I can't tell you how many paint sets and bottles of mod podge I went through as a child and teenager. But now I am grown and it is time to pass on my skills to my sprouts. This blog is my outlet for all my creative endeavors. Some of which I am sure will be fabulous and some will be huge learning lessons. My main interest is sewing and I have been doing so for the past 2 years. I am self taught with guidance from my mom and mother-in-law. I dabbled in it in high school and college. My first real project was a luv sac I made for my boyfriend (who later became my husband). It was very large, made out of stuffing from a couch we bought at a thrift store and some fake velvet material. Lumpy but comfy...we gave it away after we got married but sometimes I wish we had kept it for perspective and the memories (hehe).
My modern inspiration came when my daughter was born. There is something about little girls that makes me want to sew. I kept seeing clothes that I loved or liked the idea of but they were too expensive or had something on it that I didn't like. So I started making them. I love learning and expanding on my craft.
I also enjoy decorating (I have a lot to learn in this area), photography, and creating one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect my beliefs and personality. I hope you enjoy reading about my daily adventures and are inspired to do some creating of your own.
